Singapore is an incredible city with such diversity - it's hard to see how it fits so many cool things into such a small country! You'll be spoilt for choice for attractions to see and places to be, and we've listed just six of our favourites:
1. Gardens By The Bay
Possibly the most famous attraction in Singapore, the Gardens by the Bay was definitely one of our favourite places in Singapore. You can walk through Supertree Grove and admire the natural beauty of all the colourful plants and flowers during the day, and watch the trees come to life once the sun goes down.
2. Cloud Forrest
Walk among the clouds in this gigantic manmade glasshouse, that accommodates thousands of plant species, as well as the largest indoor waterfall in the world.
3. Marina Bay Sands
The marina makes for an impressive skyline; high rise bank and office buildings overlook the river as Marina Bay Sands stares back at it. The science museum and Helix Bridge will definitely make you reach for your camera.
4. Chinatown
If you're missing a good market, asian style, head down to Chinatown where venders will be eager to sell you typical tourist tat, as well as a variety of food and drinks. Smith street was the main place to grab a bite to eat. Check out the Hindu Sri Mariamman Temple on South Bridge Road as well.
5. Supertree Grove
Iconic. Walking through Supertree Grove is a surreal experience, and one that will make you question whether you're still on planet earth. It is completely free to appreciate these ecofriendly megstructures, though you can take a closer look by going on the OCBC Walkway. Take two separate trips at day and night to see how the trees come to life once the sun goes down.
6. Mount Faber Park
One of the best ways to appreciate the diversity of Singapore is to take the Forest Walk up to Mount Faber Park. Once you get to the top you'll be rewarded with panoramic views of the island. Monkeys will keep you company as you walk to Henderson Waves amongst the treetops.
7. Hawker Centres
Singapore is notoriously expensive, so you'll need to be thrifty with your money. Hawker Centres are dotted around all over the place, and its where the locals enjoy meeting with friends and family for some good food and a few drinks. The food here is generally a lot cheaper than restaurants, and most centres offer a huge variety of different cuisines - so it could be Thai food one night and Indian the next - ideal!
