The Wild East

Malaysia is a country of impressive manmade skyscrapers as well as dense green jungles buzzing with wildlife. Though we have only had a fleeting visit to Malaysia, it has so much to offer that even those with bags of time won’t manage to fit everything in! So far we have visited Kuala Lumpur, Penang and beach town Batu Ferringhi - but we will be returning so watch out for new blog posts!

Kuala Lumpur is undoubtedly the beating heart of Malaysia. The cosmopolitan city is the big daddy when it comes to knock off goods. Petaling Night Market was our favourite of many hectic markets and where we bagged the best bargains! Treat yourself to an infinity pool overlooking the dramatic skyline carved by the KL Tower and the Petronas Towers.

The latter is a huge shopping mall with everything from a chemist to electronics, with both top restaurants and a food court for cheaper dining options and a cinema!
