So long as you check the government website, and keep up to date with the news so you know which areas to avoid, your visit will be problem-free! After spending only a short amount of time it would be difficult to imagine anything like the kidnappings taking place at all.

The crystal clear waters are perfect for snorkelling, swimming with whale sharks and even turtles in Apo Island.
